Today we worked hard in our new math centers practicing one more, one less, skip counting by 2's, writing numerals, power of 10 and Race to 20. Children will rotate to a new center every day.

Everyone has been working hard in their literacy center practicing letters, sounds and words.

Today we mixed Red and Yellow and made Orange.

In gym we have been practicing dribbling a soccer ball.

We also did our last scent in our fall book: "In the Fall I taste..."

Please look in our backpacks for our new library book to read together.

Tomorrow our Friday Journals come home.  Thank you for writing a note each week.  The students look forward to reading them.

Grade 1 is also collecting a variety of small gourds and small mini pumpkins. Please send in withe your child if possible. Thanks you support.

No school on Friday October 11th and Monday October 14th.

Have a great evening!
