Highlights Of Our Learning:

• Today during literacy centres, we introduced a new centre called, "Be the Teacher", ask me how it works.     Reese
• We exchanged our books in the Learning Commons today.  Alyaa    Next week our learning commons day will be on Wednesday.  Please make sure your books are returned before Wednesday.
• We made snowflakes out of loose parts.  Ask me all about it.  Ayden
• This afternoon, we finished our "Hats on For Mental Health" in our visual journals.  We illustrated what we can do when we need to calm down.  Ask me what calms me down.  Abby
• In gym, we had gym with grade 6's and Ms. Rinaldi's class joined us.  Abraham
• We are all unique, ask me how I am unique like a snowflake.

FYI:

• Next week, the students are participating in Mission Impossible in the gym.  Please make sure your child is wearing appropriate clothing for gymnastics.  Long hair needs to be tied back please.
• Scholastic book order will be ordered tomorrow, please make sure your order is in tomorrow, Friday, February 7th.
• We hope you saved the date for our "Celebration of Learning" on February 6th!  Please remember to have your child wear a blue or white shirt to the celebration.  The time is 5:00pm-6:00pm.
• Please return your child's report card envelope to school. Thank you to the students that have returned them.
• There is no school for students tomorrow,  Friday, January 31st as it is a PD Day.
